our next meeting: Effects of Sodium Reduction on Food Safety, Food Quality, and Human Health

This symposium will provide a comprehensive discussion on the need to balance sodium content in foods considering its effect on microbial safety, quality and human health.
Target audience: food industry product developers, food safety specialists, and nutritionists (particularly manufacturers of processed meats, beverages, cheese, condiments, and other prepared refrigerated, frozen, and shelf-stable foods); researchers and clinicials in human nutrition/health; graduate and undergraduate students in food science and nutrition.
